International Conference on “Research for Social Devotion” In Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Khon Kaen University, Thailand

Khon Kaen University (KKU) was established in 1964 as the major university in the Northeastern Thailand and has since developed into one of the top universities in the country. It is one of the premier research universities in Thailand and a leading educational center in the entire Mekong sub-region. The university’s major mission is to prepare future global citizens to work in a continually changing world. We currently have more than 40,000 students studying in 17 faculties, 1 satellite campus, 1 school, and 3 colleges. Included in the curricula are 43 International/English programs covering a wide variety of disciplines.

We serve as the leading educational and learning center in northeastern Thailand. The main campus is conveniently located a short distance from the city center and is situated on an  attractive site of green fields measuring 900 hectares (2300 acres). KKU has excellent facilities and thus is able to provide its students with an environment conducive to learning, with the proper support to achieve academic success. KKU takes an investment-minded approach to education by providing funding for students to pursue their goals of higher education through study and research.

Khon Kaen University; Research Center of Excellence
